You know I love me a good repurpose and I was totally taken by these sweet pulleys that Sarah at Sadie Seasongoods scored.  You see, I have a thing for pulleys…I mean they’re functional, fun, and a versatile piece of equipment.

I’ve purchased several pulleys for my kids.  We used them to create a basket lift for their stuffies, and taught them about leverage.  I’ve also considered using some of the ones for sale in my shop to make rustic farmhouse lighting.

But guess what Sarah did. Since the pulleys she found were miniature in size, it took a bit before she realized the potential they had.  But oh, when Sarah got her vision, she nailed it.

With a bit of chandelier crystal, a bit of chain, and some broken rosary beads, she created these…

…funkified repurposed pulley pendants.  I love it!!

You’ve got a juxtaposition of rustic and refined all in one piece.  I think her repurpose deserves a standing ovation.  {enter applause}  pssst…she’s also got some of them for sale in her own Etsy shop.

This one is my favorite.

What would you have created with those tiny pulleys?

Thank you for sharing your creative genius with us, Sarah.
