Vintage Tea Cart Refreshed

A couple posts ago I mentioned that I had been on the hunt for a chair to go with a desk, but somehow came home with much more. ahem. That’s what happens when you hit the thrift stores. We have a few locally and I’m ever so thankful. However, what ends up jumping in my truck? Not a chair that I needed. Oh no. An adorable vintage tea cart. tsk. Does this ever happen to you? Stenciled Dresser ~ Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Earlier this week, I not only showed you my new tool that I love and am hosting a giveaway for, but also a new candidate for a makeover. We’ll get to the giveaway winner in a bit. First, let me introduce you to this empire dresser that I have been eagerly waiting to work on. It has great lines and a story to tell, but is in need of TLC. This curvy lady is to become a stenciled dresser. *enter in Cindy Lauper, “Girls, just wanna have fu-un!” (now if that doesn’t date me I don’t know what does. ahem)

Vintage Dresser Features Industrial Vibe

Made of mixed woods with a veneer-type top and sides, and also has oak drawer fronts and face. This is certainly a solid piece, BUT… it has the look of “update me please!!”
