Not only are the seasons changing, but my brand, and also my street address! Many thanks to all of you for your well-wishes and excitement as my kids and are begin a new chapter in our lives. Read the beginning of this new adventure HERE. Today, I’m keeping my promise to continue to show you our new home before outside… first.
There’s so much to discuss and give details on that I’m breaking it down into a couple parts, so I don’t miss a thing. Especially because I want to look back on this time and be glad I didn’t rush.
Lesson learned the last time I started a venture. I got too busy and too caught up in “things” that didn’t matter because I didn’t know I was losing myself.
Can you relate?
Here’s a sneak peek at my new home project in the “before” as I saw it.
Let’s not waste another minute and head over to my new blog/brand Livin Real with Larissa to take the tour. (click/tap below)

Thank you for being patient as I work to build my new brand and site with many exciting features to come. I’m working long hours before and after sunup to make this all cohesive. I couldn’t do it without you and that’s the hard truth!
And a huge thank you to my kids as they are ever patient with me. Not only that, but they are always willing to lend a helping hand at a moment’s notice.
With your help, in the next few months, I’ll be able to keep both sites going strong and keeping up with inspiring posts for you.
Before you go, be sure to sign up for my FREE newsletter. Until next time!

I can see your vision. I can’t access the video. When I click on it it just opens a pic. When I click on the “join me for a tour” it just takes me back to your post. I also got a warning when I tried to sign up for email. Just wanting to let you know. It might just be me. I’ll checked another browser and got the same results. I can’t wait to see what is going to happen here!! pam
Thank you for the heads-up, Pam! I fixed the video (4 am working leads to mistakes…eep). As for the email warning, if you are already signed up for Prodigal Pieces email, I’ve imported you to my new newsletter. So most likely you just got a warning that you can’t sign up twice. Hope that helps!
Congratulations on your new home and new beginnings. The new home may not be everything you would have liked, but there’s lots of potential. Hard work to make it your very own will take some doing, but time and Faith in God’s direction and blessings will accomplish much. I’m like you with the deer roaming in /around the house…we have that here…also fox, rabbits, and the ever-present squirrels and various birds, to name a few “critters”. Our land is in a neighborhood full of houses, a school, and many businesses, but it still, thankfully retains a “park-like” feel with all the trees and many homes with bushes and flowers, too. I pray that your new home becomes everything you wish/long for, and the neighborhood stays ‘small” and friendly. Congratulations again and God bless. You deserve it!!
Thank you for your sweet words, Anita. It is what I like – a project that I can make my own and allows me to have content as well. I didn’t want a ready-to-go home per say, just like my previous home I redid from top to bottom. 😉 Yes, love nature. We had the same creatures at the other home, too. We lived basically in the same area and near the golf course. Just now we have less neighbors – which is a huge blessing for this country gal. 😀 It’s just nice to have a change for many reasons. hugs!
