Allowing Space

Have you ever heard the term “allowing space” in reference to healing?

Maybe that’s new to you and maybe… you know exactly what that means.

Today, I’m sharing my own personal experience in both the physical injury this week, as well as the mental injury from my past.

If you’re here from my newsletter, then you know this is a picture of my current situation.

OUCH.

However, before I get to that, I want to show you another way I’m allowing space.

As my kids and I settle into our new home, I have been waiting until my garage is complete to unload a few things.

Since that day has finally come, I’m elated that these white shelves (I have two of these)…

… and these vintage Hallmark store drawers head off to a new home.

eep!

Why the excitement?

Well… those shelves used to hold my shop inventory in my basement.

And I used to have eight more sets of these drawers – four in my old home garage and four in my basement. They are from a vintage Hallmark store that have served me well for many, many years.

However, the shelves and drawers held memories that I am ready to move away from.

It feels good to start fresh and I will get back to finishing my entry when weather brings me back inside.

With that, I invite you to tap/click the text below to head over to my new brand and site for more.

Thank you, Terri. I’m just glad to be here. And the owies I have nothing to do with! haha.

Larissa looks at things with fresh eyes, she problem solves creatively, and I love how she uses her "stash" of valuable "junk" in the process.

What attracted me to Prodigal Pieces at first was the business name. What kept me interested is her opening up to share her life with her readers. She shares her beautiful creativity, has tutorials in her blog and takes what was old and makes it new again. I have several of her beautiful pieces decorating my home.
