It can be quite a thrilling, yet uber frustrating experience to try something new. When’s the last time you gave a new skill all-out effort? Maybe it’s time to give it a try? At least, I can say I just did something I’ve always wanted to have a whack at (both literally and figuratively). I’m talking about DIY bedroom framing or… any framing of any wall to be exact.
That’s what I’m focusing on today.
YUP.
Here’s the space for my son in our new home that needs framed in.
I did it, have never done framing like this before, but have enough confidence and experience under my belt that I know I can. Huge thanks to Oscar, my youngest, and GROWING, son.

And to risk sounding like a broken record, I’m in the process of rebranding from Prodigal Pieces to Livin’ Real with Larissa. I will be restating this over the next few months as I make the transition online. My last thirteen years as PP is well-established and everything will be moved over in time. Google frowns on big jumps, so I have to take baby steps.
Thank you for being patient as I grow. I promise it is worth the wait!
