Remodel Updates

I think we’ve had enough April and March showers for the next few years! ugh. So much flooding and we’ve lost power so many times even this last week. But I’m thankful for all the hard workers making the power restored and also just being able to be. With that, I bring you remodel updates on my new home.

While it seems like I’m running around in a thousand directions at once, my progress is steady as she goes.

I’m jumping in wherever I can to keep going and as weather permits. I didn’t take this remodel on thinking I’d be done in a few months.

I knew it’s going to take me a couple years to have everything done – if I even want to.

I’m savoring where I’m at.

Not just physically, but emotionally.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight and sometimes is never complete either.

However, I feel even recognizing the need to work on myself as well as being able to work on my home are THE BIGGEST blessings.

Maybe you’re in a similar situation – just know you are enough.

With that, I invite you to join me on my new brand site, Livin’ Real with Larissa to see my upcycled chalkboard facelift. (tap/click the text or image below). Also, I’m excited to share my garage update!!

I love it! Larissa is amazing. She listened to what I wanted and then she took care of the rest! This is my second piece I've bought from her and I'm in love! I highly recommend her.

Larissa looks at things with fresh eyes, she problem solves creatively, and I love how she uses her "stash" of valuable "junk" in the process.

What attracted me to Prodigal Pieces at first was the business name. What kept me interested is her opening up to share her life with her readers. She shares her beautiful creativity, has tutorials in her blog and takes what was old and makes it new again. I have several of her beautiful pieces decorating my home.
