Electrical, or at least, the lighting is done in my son’s bedroom. happy dance!! Next up is the new home bedroom closet by moi.
It may not be much to look at now, but with my tools in hand and on my belt, I’m gettin’ ‘er done.
Just as a flashback look, here’s what I’ve done so far in this bedroom addition for my son:
What’s yet to come? Just a few teeny tiny details:
- Build shelving
- Install doorknob
- Hang drywall and finish
- Add trim
- Paint
- Hang curtains
- Decorate!
Not bad, right? {{laughs nervously}}
Meanwhile, I will need to put the brakes on finishing as my new garage is currently in the works. There’s so much going on around here.

Also, while all this is going on I’ve been under attack again. Much that you never see, unless you’re in the biz, is technical stuff that no one cares about until it directly affects them.
Recently, due to AI hacking, a giant in the protective industry took a hit and you may have noticed your bank, school, etc. were affected for a day or so.
Well, I’ve been hacked before losing over 100K followers on social media and hard to start over. Just after this breakdown in the interwebs, I’ve had an influx of bots attacking my site, AGAIN.
Talk about ANNOYING!!
Sadly, with so many jumping on this AI board with abandon, it comes at a cost.
With all I can do to keep up with all I have going on, I also had to mess around with resolving that issue.
Can’t anyone just leave me alone? sigh.
Anyhoo, as you continue to be patient as I build my new brand name, Livin’ Real with Larissa, I ask for an ounce of grace as well as help. Any chance you can to leave a comment or share my work boosts this hardworkin’ small business owner mama. Plus, following on socials are always the cherry on top.
Social media is awesome when used for good. Comments on there, however, fall into the endless abyss. They are awesome and needed, don’t get me wrong.
However, when you comment on my blog(s) and share, that shows the “gods” and others who come to visit later that this a family they want to be a part of.
Okay… enough biz talk.
