I’m starting off the year thankful that I can. I can keep going, make the most of the day, and share with you my latest adventures, including my new home bedroom update.
If you’ve been following along since my moving on into our new place, the first weekend we were there I started by son’s bedroom build closing in the front entry that used to be a porch.
No problem, right?
It’s here and now I’m making a few proclamations that you can feel free to hold me to.
There aren’t many things that I will not do when it comes to remodeling or home repair. However, there are some things I strongly prefer not to do. ahem.
And drywall sanding is one of them FOR SURE.

What is more, my garage build… er finish… is on hold until old man winter gives up this deep freeze so we can pour concrete AND let it cure.
But… the electrical to my garage is complete this week. That’s one step in the right direction, right?
woot, woot!
So, I think I’ll be waiting for a bit longer than I hoped to be able to move my garage “stuff” actually out of my home.
At least I still have a home with my goodies in it and I look forward to completing even more once after this bedroom build. My sanity may be in question until I can officially have free space back, but… ah well.
