Okay…I know I’m not alone. Everyone loves to have plenty of closet space, correct? Honest truth is pretty much no one wants to clean them. (yes, I’m pointing at you. tee hee) Today, I’m going to show you how to refresh, organize and get a deep down closet spring cleaning. Yes, it can be done AND even be fun. This is my closet “before” that is about to explode with dirty laundry and all!
Who doesn’t love a shortcut to a chore? We all have different tasks that need done on daily basis, and then there are those that we kinda keep pushing to the back-burner because, let’s face it…they’re no fun. I love a clean oven, but doing the cleaning is not one of my favorite things to do. However, having the right tools to get it done quickly, efficiently, and healthily are key. Remember my motto: #toolsoverjewels – oh yeah! I’m going to show you a chemical-free oven cleaning that is actually fun. Brace yourselves…hahaha.
My family of 8 is home 24/7 and we cook/bake our meals from scratch 3 times a day. We have installed a double oven in our kitchen remodel and it’s bliss to have that thing in tip-top shape. Our routine around here is I offer this job up to one of my older kids so they can
There’s no denying that when you find something that makes your life easier and affords you more time for other tasks or pleasures in life, the first thing you want to do is tell others about it so they can benefit too. That, my friends, is what this post is all about. A few weeks ago I shared with you how much I adored my new toy, a paint sprayer called the HomeRight Finish Max , when I worked on this farmhouse dinette set (this post described using paint and poly).
Well, now that summer’s here and I’m able to be outside more doing my work, I’m having a blast (literally!) getting furniture done lickety-split. For instance, I’ve had this baby highchair needing a facelift, and if you’ve ever painted a chair before, you know how un-fun it is to paint spindles.
Ugh… you’re constantly checking for drips, incessantly brushing hoping for an even coat, right? All these reasons are exactly why I love my HomeRight sprayer. Yay!!
The best things in life are free, right? That’s how I got this table set…for FREE. Thank you Craigslist, and lady who tried to sell the table, but got so sick of it being in her garage that she gave it away. I’m feeling a farmhouse table makeover coming on. hee hee hee.
Do you ever have one of those projects that just seems like it keeps bugging you that it needs tweaking? Well, one of the best things about our home is the storage. Our home may be on the small side, but it is tweaked out for storage. A favorite feature is our mudroom. Today, I’m going to share (yet another) mudroom update. This is the third time around, but it’s high time we get it right! (giveaway alert)
It’s time for some more #trashure fun as I pull out the next subject from my wood haul. Yes, this looks quite dilapidated and a hot mess, but don’t we all look like this from time to time? haha. Thankfully, I’m not a quitter and couldn’t bear to let this poor thing go to the trash. It’s about to become a cute cottage style vintage recipe box. Hang with me…
If you’ve missed my first post about a whole lotta wooden loot I received a few weeks ago, stop over HERE and take a peek. In addition, you can see what I’m referencing below.

Time for the next installment of my cupboard door stash makeover. Yahoo!! If you have no clue what I’m talking about, head HERE to begin the fun. My gift of cupboard doors is becoming more and more fruitful. I was ready to give away that thrifted metal art, but then I had a light-bulb moment (don’t you just love those?). This pile below is about to get transformed into farmhouse wall decor.

It’s that time again where my Trash to Treasure buddies and I put together a whole slew of inspiration for you the first Tuesday of each month . I’m excited! Not only do I get to share with you again, but this time it’s something for ME. It’s not often I get to work on a project for myself, so pardon me for being a little giddy. tee hee. Today, my goal is to give my vintage industrial office chair a makeover like none other.
Spring is in the air! When this time of year comes around I’m eager to greet the season with some DIY fun. What better than to go on a #trashure hunt adventure and create a DIY spring centerpiece from thrifted finds…right? Here is what I picked and am excited to share with you. (giveaway alert!)
