It’s nearly fall y’all. Honestly, I don’t use the term “fall” as much as autumn. But… this DIY Fall decor collection is one to see! Over the last decade+ I have been creating many crafty and decor inspiring posts to the tune of more than 24 projects. whew!
That means, I’ve collected some of them here for you so you can take a peek and have details at your fingertips.
Without any further ado, let’s roll on with some cozy, harvest, soothing season vibes, shall we?
PUNKIN’
I don’t know about you, but I can’t even begin to think of fall or autumn without thinking of pumpkins. From childhood on they are a marker of smiles for every reason! Whether it’s food or fun, pumpkins are where it’s at and I have a few funky pumpkin creations for you.
First, when I found a local gal selling a five-gallon bucket of antique railroad spikes, I knew just what I wanted to create with them.
Then, I whipped up these two using scrap blocks of wood and parts of an antique rocking chair. See the full projects HERE – Repurposed Pumpkins.
Then, how about dusting off that bowling ball you have tucked in the closet or at Curb le Chic like my oldest son did? We had a BLAST giving Felipe new digs complete with house number. See the original project HERE – Bowling Ball Pumpkin.
Or, if you’re feeling a little corny, you can make these corn husk pumpkins with my tutorial. See full project HERE – Corn Husk Pumpkins.
CLASSIC WREATH
While you’re there checking out the corn husk pumpkins, you’ll also find the tutorial for this corn husk wreath.
Maybe grab that old moth eatin’ wool sweater and give it a new purpose with this felty sweater wreath. See the tutorial HERE – Felted Sweater Fall Wreath Tutorial.
Better yet, head outside and cut a few of my favorite limelight hydrangeas to make a simple, yet stunning wreath. See the full tutorial HERE – DIY Hydrangea Wreath.
And instead of a “boring” round wreath, what about a rectangular one? See the full build tutorial HERE – Hello Fall Sign.
SIGNS OF THE SEASON
While you’re at it, how about a sign for celebrating the wonderful harvest season for more DIY fall decor ideas.
This reclaimed wood sign is super simple and easy to make with any wood you have on hand. See the full tutorial HERE – Reclaimed Harvest Sign.
Likewise, I used pallets to make three different pumpkin signs. Which is your favorite? See the full tutorial HERE – DIY Harvest Sign.
This harvest time sign I made from a broken piece that most would toss in the burn pile. See the full DIY HERE – DIY Harvest Time Sign.
Button up! tee hee. Those old button collections come in handy when making this art for any event or season. See the full video tutorial HERE – Fall Pumpkin Button Art.
Next, I took a salvaged laundry cart and created this four-season art using basic supplies. See the full post HERE – Salvaged Art from Laundry Cart.
What is more, here are a few things I made from the #trashure whiskey barrels I picked up off the side of the road. See this DIY HERE – Reclaimed Whiskey Barrel Ring Fall Art.
The barrel staves make a great “canvas” for DIY fall decor. See the tutorial HERE – Whiskey Barrel Staves Art
Tote anyone? I just love totes for so many things. This one is quite the eye-catching for the rustic at heart. See the tutorial HERE – Upcycled Whiskey Barrel Planter.
MANTEL & MORE
Obviously, there are so many ways to make use of natural decor when it’s comes to autumn. Not only that but also thrifted finds or updating your current pieces are a great way to recreate your space for the season.
For instance, this thrifted shelf, basket, and antique drill got a new look and is decorated perfectly. See the full DIY post HERE – Farmhouse Fall Vignette.
Then, for a bit more upcycling fun, I made Harvey the Bear and bench from reclaimed bits for a good cause. See the upcycle HERE – Reclaimed Barn Beam Bench & Bear.
Maybe you like a certain breath mint that comes in tins? Take that tin, add a thrifted cheese dome and candlestick, and give it fall feels with a little crafty fun. See the full tutorial HERE – Upcycled Cheese Dome.
Additionally, if you like a more muted fall tablescape with a mood, use antique bait pails as lanterns and hydrangeas to soften the seasonal touch. Because autumn offers so much more than reds, oranges, and yellows, right? See the full post HERE – Farmhouse Tablescape for Autumn.
Likewise, take that same idea into other rooms in your home for a cozy update. See the full post HERE – Farmhouse Fall Bedroom.
