Spring for me is the awakening of nature, a much-needed break from the cold winter days (which I have yet to have), and the ever-fun city spring cleanup. haha. I am serious! What could be more fun that looking for free things that can not only be saved from the dump, but turned into beautiful things, right? Take for instance this set of wooden louver doors. I instantly grabbed them up and am going to show you how they became an upcycled louver door shelf. (giveaway alert!)

My goal this year was to replenish my salvaged wood stash and boy did I score some awesome things. You can imagine my delight when I pulled up and saw these doors laying there. In my truck they went along with all the other fun goodies I’ve been showing you on social media.
Do you ever have one of those projects that keeps taunting you? Like, when you walk by it keeps begging you to do something and even whispers, “Why are you taking so long??” That’s when I want to scream back at it and say, “I haven’t decided on THE BEST use yet! sigh… However, ladies and gents, today is a momentous day. Not only because of what I created, but that I finally got time to do it. Now, let me show you what I did with this repurposed louver door set that had been staring me down for months, if not years.
Around a year ago, I showed you what I created with the upper half of this door set. Remember my kitchen island cart? You can read the full post over here.
