Y’all ready for this next part of my journey? Today it’s the new home before inside tour. eep!
In case you missed the “before” tour, HEAD HERE and even START HERE to join at the beginning.
Today, it’s time to take the next step. However, before we follow Ivan to the new home, I have a teenie favor to ask.
First, I just want to clarify that if you were already signed up for the Prodigal Pieces newsletter, you DO NOT need to sign up for my new brand, Livin’ Real with Larissa newsletter. I’ve imported all of you that were already part of the family.
But, if you’re new to this brand transition I’m undertaking, you can subscribe to my free email newsletter RIGHT HERE.
Second, I truly want to thank all of you for your messages, prayers, and encouraging words. They mean the world to me, and your prayers are truly felt both now and, in the past (catch up on all Life Updates HERE).
Without a firm foundation backing me (my kids are always there) you’ve easily become my wonderful support.
Also, I appreciate your patience as I continue to merge this brand change over the next few months. I will have to continue to have a short post here on Prodigal Pieces and then send you to Livin’ Real with Larissa until I prove to the google gods that I am a viable new site.
Otherwise, I lose over thirteen years of work and my income if I just jump ship without a transition.
With that all out of the way, let’s go have a new home before inside tour!
HEAD HERE TO SCOPE OUT MY NEW DIGS

So much potential. Love the wood in your new house. Excited to watch you and your family settle in and turn this into your own home. Great new decorating ideas. Lots of patience and work ahead. A fresh palette for your designs!!!
Thank you for getting it. There is honestly nothing wrong with it as-is, but like anyone, I want to make it my own, improve what I can, and go from there. Thanks so much, Kay!
I love your new house and I can’t wait to watch your DIY personalization. . Curious: the wood floors are gorgeous. I’m wondering what they are. You have kids and pets as do I. I am shopping for wood/wood look floors and overwhelmed by all the choices. I am concerned with large dog nails. Any advice?
Thank you bunches, Pam! We are excited to be here and settle in while at the same time making changes.
The floors are laminate and are taking our wear and tear well. They’re newer and have a moisture and wear warranties.
